Service Technicians Wanted – Irrigation Industry

Water Dynamics is currently in an exciting growth phase, and we are seeking multiple Service Technicians for our Mt Gambier, SA location. In this hands on role you will be responsible for providing superior customer service to our loyal customers.

The ideal applicant will have extensive experience in the field of agricultural irrigation or related industries. However, extensive on the job training will be provided, making this opportunity one not to be missed!

Duties will include:

• Preventative maintenance of centre pivot irrigators
• Trouble shooting and repair work of centre pivot irrigators
• Assemble centre pivot and linear move irrigators
• Trouble shooting and repair work to pumps and pipework associated with agricultural, domestic and commercial irrigation
• Ability to adapt, troubleshoot and problem solve on the job
• Accurate reporting and record keeping for invoicing and accounting purposes
• Liaising and communicating with customers
• Some travel will be required, and is an integral part of the job

Required skill set would include a background in mechanical fitting, agricultural/forestry/mining equipment or diesel servicing industry.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Previous irrigation experience
• Trade background
• Truck licence
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Crane, dogging or rigging ticket

Wages are negotiable depending on experience.
